Alzheimer's Network of Oregon offers two grants each year:
Make a Memory Grant- The Make a Memory Grant is $500 given to two individuals who have been diagnosed with dementia and their families to be able to do something fun together. This grant is usually done in November.
Honoring a Caregiver Grant- The Honoring a Caregiver Grant is a new grant that AlzNet is offering. This grant will be to nominate someone that is a caregiver (i.e., spouse, child, or paid caregiver) to someone diagnosed with dementia to be able to $500. This is intended to be able to give them a break be it covering for another person, a spa day, or another activity that would be for them. The timeline for this grant is TBD.

The Alzheimer's Network of Oregon is a nonprofit network of experienced volunteers offering support and resources to persons with memory loss, their families and caregivers through the Memory Café. The Memory Café is a monthly meeting for people with dementia and Alzheimer's to connect with each other.
